Web Developer – Freelance at WorkSimple in San Francisco, CA
We are looking for a developer with website mastery to help WorkSimple grow into one of the best business SaaS brands on the Internet. Code. Design. Experiment. Take Risks.
Own the marketing website, from home page to blog, and manage the projects that keep it fresh and exciting. A relentless focus in increasing the performance of our website (uniques to sign ups), looking for every advantage in converting visitors into users.
Day-to-day:
- Manage all aspects of the www.getworksimple.com marketing website
- Drive innovative programs that keeps the marketing site fresh and relevant
- Relentless focus on increasing the conversion of visitors into users
- Produce UX designs (mockups) that reinforce the WorkSimple brand and improve performance of sign ups
- Convert designs into fully-functioning web marketing pages, landing pages (Marketo/Hubspot), sign up forms and blog enhancements to increase user engagement and conversions
- Increase customer engagement and conversion through A/B split test
- Work with external tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hubspot to evaluate, analyze and improve on the site’s performance and SEO
- Partner with designers to create new layouts and pages as necessary
Skills
- Build prototype pages from existing design in Photoshop, Illustrator or other tools
- Administer Wordpress and modify Wordpress themes
- Create landing pages in Marketo and/or Hubspot from existing designs
- A/B Testing experience a must
- Ability to successfully maintain multiple projects and tasks
- Strong, clear visual design skills
- Ability to work directly with Designers, Product, and rest of team
- Ability tow ork with remote teams(we have offices in SF and Minneapolis)
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Deep SEO/SEM experience
The ideal candidate:
- History of managing or creating exceptional web interfaces that showcase user-centered design principles and marketing performance.
- Experience a web site from idea to high-reliability production
- You like to deliver real results. So, you’ve got some design and prototyping
- Fluent in building great user experiences with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Wordpress
You will need to submit samples of your work (websites, landing pages, blogs) that you have managed or created.
